A Metro Transit bus hit the Uptown Theater in south Minneapolis this morning, one of scores of crashes that marred the Tuesday morning rush hour.
The southbound Route 53 bus was sliding through the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and Lagoon Avenue when the driver swerved to miss a car just after 8 a.m., said spokesman Howie Padilla.
The bus ended up against the building. It was not immediately clear if there was damage to the building.
Padilla said there were no indication of injuries.
