Drugs. An officer spotted a suspicious vehicle that was running in the parking lot at Excelsior United Methodist Church, 881 3rd Av. A 26-year-old Ply­mouth woman was cited for possession of marijuana.

Drugs. A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after he was stopped for poor driving near NE. 153rd Avenue and NE. Hwy. 65. A search of his vehicle revealed a large amount of marijuana.

Drunken driving. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after she was stopped for driving the wrong way at Hope Avenue and Old Hwy. 169.

LAKE ELMO

FEB. 10

Suspicious situation. A 27-year-old man told authorities he was taking a nap in his vehicle in the lot of a business in the 11000 block of 10th Street. He was told that the business didn't want him loitering there, and he agreed to leave.

LAKEVILLE

WEEK OF FEB. 10-16

Theft. A 47-year-old woman reported that a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu had been stolen from a lot on Kenyon Avenue. She called back later to say that it wasn't stolen after all, just covered in snow.

MAPLEWOOD

FEB. 4

Theft. Two tires and rims were stolen off a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Ferndale Street. The vehicle was left up on cinder blocks.

Theft. A man and two women left the IHOP, 1935 Beam Av., without paying their $45 bill.

MEDINA

FEB. 14

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a barking dog outside a home in the 300 block of Cheyenne Trail. The officer contacted the homeowner, a 48-year-old woman, who said she had accidentally left the dog outside and was on her way home. Because of the cold weather, the dog was kept at a neighbor's house until she returned.

NEW BRIGHTON

Warrant. Officers responding to a property damage incident in the area of 5th Street and Silver Lake Road arrested a 60-year-old man on a warrant.

NOWTHEN

FEB. 8

Theft. Officers responded to a report of a 2013 GMC Terrain stolen from the 22400 block of NW St. Francis Boulevard. They arrested a 16-year-old boy for theft of a motor vehicle after he drove the Terrain into a ditch a few miles away.

PLYMOUTH

FEB. 20

Theft. A 2002 Honda Accord was stolen from an apartment parking lot in the 11200 block of 12th Avenue. The vehicle, which had been left unattended while warming up, was recovered in another city several days later.

PRIOR LAKE

FEB. 12

Theft. A handgun was stolen from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Pershing Street.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 9

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S. They cited four Minneapolis men — two 21-year-olds, a 22-year-old and a 23-year-old — for disorderly conduct.

Theft. A handgun was reported stolen from a home in the 3000 block of 31st Avenue.

FEB. 10

Theft. A handgun was reported stolen from the console of an unlocked vehicle in the 2600 block of Lowry Avenue.

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP

FEB. 10

Unwanted person. A man was reported knocking on the door of a home in the 1000 block of O'Ryan Trail. A deputy located the man, who was intoxicated and looking for his mother's house. He was taken across the street to her house and released to a responsible party.
