The Wild will be without second-pair right-shot defenseman Matt Dumba during this afternoon's game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Dumba has been ruled out with a lower-body injury. He finished Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, but early in the game, he was checked along the boards by Ondrej Palat. Dumba crashed awkwardly -- right-leg first -- into the lower part of the wall and dasher.

Also, former Wild winger Thomas Vanek's homecoming won't take place. He injured an ankle yesterday in Columbus and won't play today.

Christian Folin will take Dumba's spot next to Marco Scandella.

Devan Dubnyk vs. backup Jared Coreau (5-2-3 with a 3.01 goals-against average and .901 save percentage).
