Martin Williams Advertising has won the ad agency account for Arizona-based P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc., the only food business account for the firm.
P.F. Chang's China Bistro operates two large Asian food chains, P.F Chang's China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner.
There are 204 P.F. Chang's restaurants in the U.S., and 16 at international locations. Pei Wei has 169 locations in 23 states, and one international location. Billings for the account weren't disclosed by Martin Williams.
"This our only entry into the restaurant and casual dining business right now," said Christine Dennis, Martin Williams senior vice president and director of engagement. "They are among our midsize clients, but they are a very visible win for us because they've got great potential to reinvigorate their business."
Martin Williams, in Minneapolis, will do local and national advertising that will focus on print, outdoor, digital, social media and online search, Dennis said. The firm will also handle public relations for the Chang's campaign. The first advertisements are expected to appear in about a week, she said.
