Quick hits on the Bears, Lions and Packers

One of Jay Cutler's former Bears teammates took offense to the Chicago QB screaming at and bumping Bears tackle J'Marcus Webb during Thursday's loss at Green Bay. Cutler was sacked seven times and threw four interceptions. "If you are not doing your job, yeah, someone should be allowed to get in your face," Adewale Ogunleye told a Chicago radio station. "But if you live in a glass house, you can't throw any stones. No one is yelling at Jay when he is throwing the ball [four] times to their defenders."

The Lions' passing game against the 49ers' pass defense sure seems worthy of a prime-time matchup. Lions QB Matthew Stafford is tied with Drew Brees with an NFL-record four consecutive games with at least 350 yards passing. The 49ers have allowed 350 or more yards only twice in the past four years and only once during a non-overtime game.

Someone tell the Packers the NFC North is supposed to be pass-happy. The much-criticized Green Bay defense held the Bears to 168 total yards (2.9 per play) and Cutler to a 28.2 passer rating on Thursday. "This was an old-school, Black and Blue Division game," Packers General Manager Ted Thompson told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Typical Green Bay-Chicago game."
