Crookston police are looking for a man they want to question in relation to a suspicious death in that northwestern Minnesota city.

Tawnja Rene Wallace, 48, was found dead in her home in the 100 block of South Broadway in Crookston about 9 a.m. Wednesday, police said. While they did not characterize her death, saying that the University of North Dakota medical examiner is conducting an autopsy, they said they want to talk to Wallace, her housemate, in connection with her death.

He is Eddie Markeith Frazier, 49, who is described as black, 6 feet 4 and 320 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a four-door silver 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora with Minnesota license plate 341-VNZ.

Frazier was last seen around 11 a.m. Wednesday in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Investigators believe he may be headed to the Twin Cities, South Dakota or Arizona.

Police said they have no indication that he is armed and no information indicating an ongoing threat to public safety. Anyone with information on Frazier's whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Crookston police are investigating Wallace's death with help from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Pine to Prairie Violent Crimes Enforcement Team.
