Man shot to death in front of Hastings home is ID'd

Authorities on Tuesday identified a man found shot to death outside his home in Hastings, where police remain on the hunt for the killer.

The body of Jason C. Reuter, 34, was found shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday in the front yard of the single-family house in the 1200 block of Eddy Street, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.

Reuter's death "is believed to be an isolated incident," police said in a statement. No weapon has been recovered.
