St. Paul police were investigating a fatal shooting Sunday night in the 400 block of N. Lexington Parkway.
About 8 p.m., officers responding to a report of a shooting found a man lying in the parking lot of a business.
He had an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, police spokesman Sgt. Mike Ernster said.
Investigators were canvassing the area for witnesses and information in the case, Ernster added. The shooting occurred near the intersection of N. Lexington Parkway and W. University Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 651-266-5650.
