A 24-year-old man died Tuesday night in a fire at a Fridley home, authorities said.
Firefighters went to the home in the 300 block of Hugo Street NE. about 8 p.m.
The fire apparently started in the kitchen and spread to the living room. The man, who was sleeping at the time, was trapped on the second floor of the house. His name has not been released, but officials said he was a resident of the house.
Three other people escaped the house. No one else was injured, authorities said.
