A construction worker died when he got tangled in equipment and building materials shortly after noon on Wednesday at a work site near Carver Lake Park, Woodbury police said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was dead at the scene. He was a contract worker employed by Visu-Sewer Inc., headquartered in Pewaukee, Wis., police said. The company has been contracted by the city to work on a sewer line in the southwest area of the city.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, police and the Ramsey County medical examiner are investigating the man's death, police said.
