A man from Rice, Minn., was charged Monday in federal court with producing child pornography involving a 13-year-old girl he met online and had sex with in a park, authorities said.

Michael Ray Tobiassen, 32, faces a maximum of 30 years in prison if convicted.

According to a March 29th indictment, Tobiassen allegedly did "employ, use, persuade, induce, entice and coerce a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions."

According to charges in Sherburne County filed in April:

A sheriff's deputy on patrol in Kolbinger Park in Becker approached a vehicle about 1:20 a.m. Saturday and saw a male and a female in the back seat. Both were naked. The girl told the deputy she was 13, met Tobiassen on the Internet and told him her age. She said the two of them had been having sexual conversations on the Internet for the past week. The girl said Tobiassen picked her up at the driveway of her home, they went to the park, stripped and performed sexual acts on each other. She also said there were several photos taken of her on his camera just before the deputy arrived. She said this was the first time they had met.
