Mahtomedi scored four runs in the seventh inning to defeat St. Anthony 8-6 to stay in the winner's bracket of Class 3A, Section 4 high school baseball tournament on Saturday. The third-seeded Zephyrs scored four runs in two different innings to overcome a pair of deficits.

The second-seeded Huskies scored one run in the second and three in the third to take a 4-0 lead. The Zephyrs made their first comeback to tie the score in the fifth inning. The Huskies quickly reclaimed the lead with one in the bottom of the fifth.

Jamie Berg led the Zephyrs' comeback with three hits, a run scored, RBI and stolen base. Henry Laue had two hits, a run scored and an RBI and Connor Henningsen had one hit, two RBI and two runs scored for the Zephyrs.

Sullivan Jahnke led the Huskies with two hits, two RBI and a run scored. Nick Zezulka had one hit, two RBI and a run scored, Tyler Stopera and Jack Van Patter had two hits and an RBI each and Aaron Smith had two hits and two runs scored for the Huskies.

Minnetonka 6, Chaska 1: Senior Mason Nadolney made his first varsity pitching appearance and gave up one run on three hits in 6â…“ innings while striking out four and walking three to lead the second-seeded Skippers past the Hawks to reach the Class 3A, Section 2 final. Nadolney, who is committed to play at Jacksonville University next season, also had two hits and an RBI. Nick Thimsen had two hits and two runs scored, Cameron Smrekar had two hits and two RBI and Mitch Klass had two hits and an RBI for the Skippers. Nicholas Omscheid led the eighth-seeded Hawks with two hits and a run scored.

Cretin-Derham Hall 5, Tartan 4: Tom Cavanaugh hit a game-tying triple and Michael Caron followed that up with a walkoff RBI as the Raiders rallied from two runs down in the seventh inning. Cavanaugh finished 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Farmington 3, Rochester Century 1 (8 innings): Devin Peterson drove in the go-ahead runs with the bases loaded to lead the Tigers past the Panthers. The sixth-seeded Tigers later defeated top-seeded Owatonna 5-0 to advance to the Class 4A, Section 1 final.

Edina 11, Chanhassen 4: Cam Schmidt led the Hornets, going 2-for-4 while knocking in three runs and scoring once. Nick Azar added three RBI. Charlie Fischer went 2-for-3 with two walks hitting leadoff.

Red Wing 6, Kasson-Mantorville 0: Ben Kuehni allowed just one hit to lead the Wingers over the Komets. Tre Moore finished off the shutout in the seventh. Moore and Seth Yeatman both had two RBI, with Yeatman's coming on a two-run homer.
