This is not as big as Charlie Sheen quitting his sitcom, or American Idol, but because it's the favorite show of moody people who wish they could go back to 1964 and smoke and drink at lunch and wear elegant grown up clothes, anything that has to do with Mad Men is BIG NEWS in the media. (It's my favorite show, which is why you'll see lots of Mad Men posts here and nothing about Glee, because I couldn't care less. There. I said it.) Anyway, People says:

I've never heard of Basket of Kisses. Upon visiting the site, I see it's a reference to something Peggy said in S1 E6, "Babylon." As the site says. "This creative turn of phrase is what first got Peggy attention as a writer." But the phrase appears first in the movie "The Bad Seed," where the creepy evil kid says "I'll give you a basket of kisses" to her clueless father, who says "And I'll give you a bushel of hugs." Or something like that. That may be Weiner's origin, right there.

All of this is probably more than you care about, but to repeat the point made yesterday: go for product placement. If they promised more product placement, fans would be happy. Frankly, last season didn't have enough product placement.
