The concept is simple: Two actors, in one hour, tell the full story of Shakespeare's "Macbeth." While "Macduo" comes off as a Cliff's Notes version, even truncated Shakespeare is still Shakespeare, and actors April and Robert Hubbard really connect us to the power hungry (and doomed) Lady and Thane Macbeth. The other characters are less successful. Even at an hour, some moments — such as the always unfunny drunken porter — could have been jettisoned.
