U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann is more hated than Karl Rove and Gov. Tim Pawlenty attracts more venom than Peggy Noonan. At least that's the view of conservative Townhall's ranking of the "100 Americans the Left Hates Most."

Bachmann comes in at #10 and Pawlenty, who may want to up his rank if he wants Republicans to give him their 2012 nod for president (Sarah Palin is #2 , Mitt Romney is #23, Bobby Jindal is #67 and Haley Barbour is #70), ranks way down at #86.

Here's how the Minnesotans were described:

#10 MICHELE BACHMANN
As Congress prepared to vote on President Obama's overreaching health care overhaul,
one congressional Republican stood up and encouraged Americans to rally in the nation's
capital to protest.
Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann has not only been an ardent critic of the current
administration's big-government policies, but has also been an outspoken advocate for the tea party
movement and the constitutional principles for which they fight.
Bachmann stands as a strong conservative woman who, like Palin, challenges liberal women
to think outside the liberal box. In an attempt to silence her outspoken candor, Democrats and their allies on the Left are making ousting Michele Bachmann their No. 1 goal in this fall's elections.

#86 TIM PAWLENTY
Conservative governor of Minnesota and possible 2012 GOP presidential candidate
