Longtime college administrator Lori Kloos was named interim president of St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC) on Wednesday. Kloos will succeed Joyce Helens, who is moving to Great Basin College in Nevada. The appointment of Kloos becomes effective Aug. 1.
Kloos has been SCTCC's vice president of administration and chief financial officer since 2000 and was acting president in 2005, according to the announcement by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. Previous roles have included serving in the Office of the Legislative Auditor and the Office of the State Auditor.A search for a permanent president will begin this fall.
