The 70th Annual Peabody Awards were announced this morning with a record-breaking 39 recipients - including two with local ties.

KSTP was recognized for "Who Killed Doc," an investigation of a Minnesota sailor's accidental electrocution in Iraq.

American Public Media, based in St. Paul, got nods for producing "The Promised Land," a forum for conversation about the environment and justice, hosted by Majora Carter.
