Evine Live promotes two executives

Evine Live, Eden Prairie, named Nicole Ostoya as executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and promoted Lee Goehring to vice president of merchandising for the home and consumer electronics categories.

Ostoya had been serving as the interim chief marketing officer and has 30 years of experience in retail including Nordstrom and LVMH. Goehring has 20 years of experience in retail merchandising and product development including previous stops at Target Corp. and Best Buy.

Toro increases size of its board to 11

The Toro Co., Bloomington, announced that its increased the size of its board of directors from 10 to 11 and elected D. Christian Koch to the seat. Koch will join the audit and finance committees of the board.

Koch is president and CEO of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carlisle Companies Inc. Koch joined Carlisle in 2008 and before that worked at Graco and H.B. Fuller.

Appliance Recycling shares off watch list

Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Hopkins, has been notified by the staff of the Nasdaq Stock Market that with Appliance Recycling shares trading over $1 per share since April 6 it has regained compliance with the exchange's continued listing standards.
