Northern Tier Energy LP, Tempe, Ariz., declared a cash distribution of 38 cents per common unit for the fourth quarter of 2015. The distribution will be paid Feb. 19, to unit holders of record on Feb. 12. Northern Tier supports 102 franchised SuperAmerica convenience stores, primarily in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Mergers and acquisitions
Liberty Carton Corp., Minneapolis, has acquired the packing business assets of Western Container Corp., Minneapolis. Liberty Carton is a business of Liberty Diversified International, Minneapolis. Western Container will continue to operate its steel, fiber and plastic drum business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
