3M Co., Maplewood, announced that 3M France has closed on its previously announced sale of its Faab Fabricauto business to Hills Numberplates. Faab makes license plates and signage solutions and was part of 3M's Traffic Safety and Security Division.

Dakota Plains Holdings Inc., Wayzata, which loads North Dakota oil trains, said Tuesday that the small-cap exchange of the New York Stock Exchange has approved a compliance plan to retain its stock listing. Dakota Plains has until March 14, 2017 to address its stockholders deficit and annual losses cited by the exchange in a September delisting warning.
