Allete Inc., Duluth, announced that its electric utility, Minnesota Power, has agreed to a new 10-year agreement with steelmaker ArcelorMittal to supply power to its Minorca mine near Virginia, Minn. The agreement is subject to state regulatory approval.

Personnel

Make-A-Wish Minnesota, Minneapolis, has named Mia Broos Hoagberg as its new president and CEO. Hoagberg previously held development positions at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare and at the Greater Twin Cities United Way.

The Schwan Food Co., Marshall, named Jay Lund to its board of directors. Lund is currently chairman, president and CEO of window and door maker Andersen Corp. in Bayport.

Utepils Brewing, Minneapolis, announced that Eric Harper will be its head brewer. Harper was most recently at St. Paul's Summit Brewing Co. and before that the New Glarus Brewing Company in Wisconsin.
