SolarCity, San Mateo, Calif., will install 4.7 megawatts of solar panels on six Metro Transit locations in the Twin Cities. The transit system said it will buy the power at a fixed rate for 25 years, saving $4 million.

Litigation

The city of Annandale, Minn., challenged a decision by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to allow Geronimo Energy, Edina, to build a solar power project on land the city has slated for future development.
