Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 27.5 cents per common share, an increase for 23 cents, payable Jan. 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 17.

Medtronic Inc., Fridley, approved a cash dividend of 28 cents per common share, payable Jan. 24 to shareholders of record on Jan. 3.

Capella Education Co., Minneapolis, has initiated a quarterly cash dividend of 35 cents per common share, payable Jan. 10 to shareholders of record on Dec. 23.

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., Eden Prairie, declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 35 cents per share, payable Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 17. As of Dec. 5, about 151.6 million shares were outstanding.

Insignia Systems Inc., Brooklyn Park, said that the board of directors approved a stock repurchase plan authorizing the company to repurchase up to $5 million of the its common stock. The company will fund repurchases through cash on hand and future cash flow from operations.
