NEW BUSINESS

Geronimo Energy, Minneapolis, has formed a partnership with Slumberland Furniture to install solar panels at eight Slumberland stores, a distribution warehouse, and corporate office in the Twin Cities area.

APAC Customer Services Inc., a provider of global customer care outsourced services and products, said that it will add 230 jobs in its Mendota Heights service center. These new positions will provide customer service and technical support via phone and chat for a major retailer.

DEBT AND EQUITIES

Northern Oil and Gas Inc., Wayzata, has amended the revolving credit facility agreement with its bank syndicate. The lenders completed their regular semiannual redetermination of the borrowing base, resulting in an increase to $450 million from $400 million, a reduction of the interest rate by 0.25 percentage point, and an extension of the termination date of the credit agreement to Sept. 30, 2018.

PERSONNEL

HealthEast Care System, St. Paul, named Paul Torgerson senior vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel. Torgerson, a partner in the health care group at Dorsey & Whitney, will begin his new role at HealthEast at the end of the year.

XRS Corp., Eden Prairie, said that President and Chief Operating Officer Brendan Reidy has also been named chief technology officer. As president and COO of XRS, Reidy oversees development, product management, information systems, quality assurance, customer support, supply chain and human resources. In his expanded role, Reidy will oversee the company's long-term product strategy and will continue to report directly to Jay Coughlan, chairman and CEO.
