Ready and set for Day 1 of NFL draft

April 22, 2010 at 3:39PM

We've arrived at the Winter Park media room roughly 12 hours before the Vikings will be on the clock with the 30th overall pick.

Mock drafts have been all over the place with respect to what the Vikings will and should do at No. 30. Will it be quarterback, cornerback, safety, offensive lineman, defensive tackle, linebacker, trade up, trade down? Should be fun watching it all play out once the draft starts at 6:30 p.m. central.

We will be blogging throughout the day and live blogging as the draft unfolds. We're also expecting to have a chance to talk to new cornerback Lito Sheppard at some point today so we'll bring you highlights from that interview. He did an interview with KFAN this morning and I'll post some of his comments in a little while.

While we count the time down, give us your thoughts on what you hope the Vikings do tonight.
