Poet Patricia Smith rocked the AWP Women's Caucus at Women and Children First bookstore in Chicago on Wednesday nght, reading from her new book, "Shoulda Been Jimi Savannah," which pubs in April from Minneapolis' Coffee House Press.
(Smith will be in the Twin Cities at 6:30 p.m. April 16 at Macalester College with Quincy Troupe. The reading is free and open to the public.)
