In 2016, Prince changed his live concerts, forgoing a full band in favor of a sparsely decorated stage featuring only a grand piano and a microphone. He debuted the new format with a pair of shows at his home, studio and concert space at Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minn., in January, followed by several shows in Australia and New Zealand and a few more in the United States.
The last of these shows took place at Atlanta's Fox Theatre on April 14. An audience recording of this final concert and has surfaced online. You can listen to it here.
