A Minneapolis limousine driver remained hospitalized Saturday after two men trying to steal the limo shot the driver in the back Friday night.
The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of 2nd Avenue S., after limo driver Celso Inamagua-Solis, 39, of Minneapolis picked up two passengers to go to bars, according to police. The two suspects tried to carjack the vehicle and when Inamagua-Solis didn't cooperate, they shot him in the back.
He was hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Police are still investigating; no arrests have been made yet.
