Metro Transit was getting the Green and Blue light-rail coming into downtown Minneapolis back in service after replacing them with buses early in Tuesday afternoon's rush hours.

The trains were halted because of a "suspicious package" found at the U.S. Bank Stadium stop.

The Green Line had been stopped at the West Bank station, the Blue Line at the Cedar Avenue station.

There was no word about what was found in the package.
