My wife and I attended the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Houston, Texas, where the Minnesota Gophers lost a 34-31 heartbreaker to Texas Tech ("Kill accentuates the positive," Dec. 30). While I wasn't happy with the game's outcome, I was impressed by the University of Minnesota's marching band. It looked sharp, sounded great and put the Texas Tech band to shame. Congratulations, and keep up the good job.
