Letter of the day: Basilica Block Party rocked (except for trashing the lawn)

Thanks to all involved with the Basilica Block Party. The bands were outstanding. The food selections were varied and reasonably priced. The weather? What can I say but "thank you, God!" My only complaint? With numerous waste and recycling receptacles located everywhere, why did so many beverage bottles and so much waste end up on the Basilica lawn? No fault of the organizers.
