We're less than a week away from the NFL Draft so the rumor mill over which prospects teams covet is about to pick up steam.

In the spirit of that, we thought we would look around at various mock drafts to see what people think the Vikings will or should do. Here is a sampling:

ESPN's Mel Kiper rolled out his four-round mock draft this week. We won't link to the entire thing since it's premium content that requires a subscription, but Kiper predicted the Vikings will take USC safety Taylor Mays in the first round, Wake Forest cornerback Brandon Ghee in the second, USC running back Joe McKnight in the third and Missouri State tight end Clay Harbor in the fourth.

Don Banks of SI.com has the Vikings selecting Rutgers cornerback Devin McCourty with the 30th overall pick. Banks has Florida center/guard Maurkice Pouncey going to the Colts one pick later. Banks said Pouncey also could be an option for the Vikings.

Bucky Brooks of NFL.com also is thinking cornerback. He has the Vikings taking Florida State cornerback Patrick Robinson. Brooks had the Vikings selecting McCourty in his previous mock draft.

Pete Prisco of cbssports.com also goes with a cornerback, although he predicts the Vikings will take Virginia's Chris Cook.

Clark Judge of cbssports.com stayed with the same theme and predicted the Vikings will take Alabama cornerback Kareem Jackson.
