The last standing link to Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington is now history. A stadium parking sign was removed Monday from a lot on the north side of Mall of America, where the Met — right, which was demolished in 1985 — used to stand. The sign will be autographed by players who competed at the Met and auctioned off to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Cirque du Soleil has temporarily taken over the area, where a big top has risen for its show, "Amaluna."
