MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Lake Express high-speed ferry that runs between Michigan and Wisconsin has been out of service this week for engine repairs.
The Muskegon Chronicle and WGHN-AM report the boat that carries passengers across Lake Michigan between Muskegon, Mich., and Milwaukee has been docked since Monday.
Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday and Saturday. Lake Express plans to notify passengers when trips start up again.
Aaron Schultz, marketing and sales director, says engine problems also shut down the Lake Express for about two days the week of July 22.
The Lake Express offers three round-trips a day.
