Here’s Gaga’s new song, “Born this Way,” which is being made available in embeddable form by EW.com. They say: “Leave it to Gaga to write a song that’s the culmination of her advocacy for the gay community but still has a thumping club beat.” Apparently those concepts were mutually exclusive before La Ga. 

 

 

She’s in Vogue this month, and gives an interview about her naughty, rebellious youth - she drank! - and how she loves her fans, of course, and what a total prodigy she is.

I was a strange, loud little kid who could sit at the piano and kill a Beethoven piece. Speaking purely from a musical standpoint, I think I am a great performer. I am a talented entertainer. I consider myself to have one of the greatest voices in the industry. I consider myself to be one of the greatest songwriters. I wouldn’t say that I am one of the greatest dancers, but I am really quite good at what I do.

We are now officially back in the 70s, if anyone had any doubt; the last time anyone saw pink wigs like that, it was on the sci-fi TV show “UFO.” Which was on the air around the time she was born, come to think of it. Hmmmmm.
