KSTP investigates soldier bonus pay

Thousands of soldiers still haven't been paid bonuses for long deployments, KSTP reports.

Thousands of Minnesotans who have served in the military over the past few years are now home. Local media usually covers the homecomings and celebrations, but it's more important than ever that we follow up on the situations veterans face as they adjust back to civilian life.

KSTP-TV aired a story Tuesday night on Minnesota Army National Guard soldiers who were promised thousands of dollars in bonus pay, but haven't received it yet. Reporter Tom Hauser said that Minnesota soliders are owed about $10 million for deployments that ended three years ago. Click here to watch the report.
