Not for her wooden acting, however.

Kristen Stewart has fallen all over herself apologizing for comments, printed in the British version Elle magazine, that lit up the blogosphere earlier this week. No, she didn't rip on co-star Robert Pattinson's new 'do; she compared paparazzi photos of herself to images of women being raped. "I really made an enormous mistake -- clearly and obviously," Stewart told People magazine. "And I'm really sorry about my choice of words. 'Violated' definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought." Ironically, the issue of violence against women has been important to Stewart since playing a rape victim in 2004's "Speak." She has also done public service announcements for the advocacy group Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network. "People thinking that I'm insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake."

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
