U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, often cautious with her political endorsements, came out in support of state Sen. Tarryl Clark's quest to unseat Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Klobuchar's nod -- in a fundraising email -- comes two days after Clark got the DFL party endorsement for her race. Clark will face Democrat Maureen Reed in a primary.
Klobuchar won the conservative 6th district in her 2006 race and is held in high esteem by Minnesota voters, according to polls.
