Republican Congressman John Kline, kicking off Friday's state Republican convention in Minneapolis, tells a mostly quiet crowd: "This is our time. So let's go get it."
He leaves to applause, and the loud lyrics of a John Mellancamp song.
Kline is followed by Republican Erik Paulsen, who tells the crowd that Democrats "instead of changing Washington, they became Washington."
"We will retire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House," he said, referring to the controversial Democrat. "[But] we have a lot of work to do."
He waves to the crowd when finished, with a brief but loud Tom Petty song playing in the background.
