Gophers coach Jerry Kill gave several injury updates on his weekly segment with Sid & Dave on WCCO (830-AM) Sunday morning:

* Senior safety Damarius Travis (hamstring) will indeed miss the rest of the season and take a medical redshirt year. Kill had said that was a strong possibility last week. Kill told WCCO that Travis and TE Lincoln Plsek (back injury) both have medical redshirt seasons available to them.

* Players returning for Saturday's game against Michigan: C Brian Bobek

* Nicked up players who will be full speed for Michigan: RB Shannon Brooks, RB Rodney Smith

* Players questionable for the Michigan game: LB Cody Poock, DT Scott Ekpe, DE Theiren Cockran

* Players out for the Michigan game: OL Josh Campion (concussion)

Kill said TE Duke Anyanwu practiced for the first time in six weeks last Wednesday, though Kill didn't sound optimistic about him playing soon.

Kill made a point of saying that LB De'Vondre Campbell was limited in the Nebraska game -- not because of discipline -- but because he became a first-time father the night before the game and was out of the game plan.
