Kevin McHale is back.
The former Timberwovles GM/coach isn't back on a NBA sideline and hasn't been since Houston fired him just days into last season.
No, he's back on the TNT/NBA TV roster.
Taking all the verbal skills he largely refused to use during his recent coaching/NBA gigs, he's back in a high-profile media job that leaves him very visible for the next good NBA job that comes along.
He'll do commentary on select TNT games and join Ernie Johnson, Chris Webber and Greg Anthony on NBA TV's Tuesday Fan Night.
McHale previously worked for Turner Sports from 2009 to 2011.
