Kevin Love hasn't made it a secret that he wanted the five-year max deal instead of the four-year extension (with an escape to free agency sooner than that) he signed last year. But if you thought it was time for him to put all that behind him -- it's been almost a year now -- and just play some ball, you were wrong. Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski today has a fresh round of quotes and a long piece about Love in which he expresses dissatisfaction with many things. Here are some quote snips from Love:

"I don't know who labels people stars, but even [T'wolves owner] Glen Taylor said: I don't think Kevin Love is a star, because he hasn't led us to the playoffs. I mean, it's not like I had much support out there. That's a tough pill to swallow."

On his knuckle pushup injury: "Even people in my own organization were asking if it was a legitimate injury, people calling my honesty and integrity into question," Love says. "And that's what really hurt me."

"You walk into the locker room every year, and it's completely turned over," Love says. "There's new guys everywhere. And then it happens again and again. You start to wonder: Is there really a plan here? Is there really any kind of a … plan?"

"I have a very, very good memory, and I always remember the people who have done right by me, and the people who have done wrong by me," he says. "It will be embedded in my brain, and something I won't forget about. There's no telling what will happen. I would love to compete for a championship in Minnesota, but …"

With Ricky Rubio set to come back from injury any game now and the Wolves having their most competent-looking roster since KG was here, the timing of this couldn't be much worse.

Your thoughts, please, on Love's comments and the full column. Is he still right to speak his mind, or had you already heard enough?
