We are so excited about this fishing season. As we update our fishing report, it's 75 degrees outside. Another indication that it's fishing time!
Fishing should be great this year - not much pressure from this winter, as we had a lot of snow and it was tough for folks to get on the lake. So there is an excitement in the air for everyone to get back on the water!
Walleye population looks great. The hatchery on Walker Lake stripped eggs in record time with a lot of nice 16" to 24" walleyes. Water temps are rising and the shiners are beginning to move. We happen to have shiners now for you.
