Good morning, commuters!

MnDOT's overnight road work on northbound I-494 from County Road 6 up to Hwy. 55 will be in place until about 6 a.m., so plan for a left lane closure if you are heading through Plymouth.

Construction will ramp up at 6 a.m. on eastbound Hwy. 5 near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Westbound Hwy. 110 has the right lane closed today for signal work between Wentworth and Emerson Avenues through Inver Grove Heights and Mendota Heights.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
