Good morning, commuters!

We start with a big mess in downtown St. Paul where a jackknifed semitrailer truck is blocking lanes on both northbound 35E and eastbound 94.

Traffic is being funneled from northbound 35E over to eastbound 94. Traffic on eastbound 94 is restricted to a single lane.

No telling if the wet roads caused the incident, but do use caution as you head out.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
