Good morning, commuters!

It's another hot one out there, although meteorologist Paul Douglas says it won't be quite as steamy today. And it should be slightly cooler.

Drivers on eastbound 94 near Albertville are trying to keep their cool. Overnight road work near County Road 19 has the freeway down to one lane and a long line is developing.

Overnight work also is still in place on I-494 westbound at 12th Avenue and eastbound at 35W.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
