Good morning commuters!

We start today with wet roads in some place in the metro area due to overnight showers and thunderstorms that rolled through. According to meterologoist Paul Douglas, there could be a few more storms.

Right now, it's overnight road work that is wrapping up that is causing minor slow downs on 494 in Bloomington.

A reminder that Hwy. 169 is reduced to a single lane between the Crosstown and Hwy. 7 for bridge repair. That configuration will be in place until July 15, and is expected to spread to the northbound lanes this week. For more on this project see MnDOT's construction page.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
