Good morning, commuters!

It's another frigid morning, cold enough for black ice to form, so use caution as you move around the metro.

One place where it's really hot is on northbound I-35W at 95th Avenue in Blaine. That's where a fully-engulfed car fire is in progress.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
