Good morning, commuters!

On the flood watch, the Minnesota River crossings at Hwy. 101 and Hwy. 41 are both open, and yesterday afternoon Scott County said the crossing at County Road 9 in Jordan was back open, too. That should make commuting in the southwest metro a bit easier.

Some early morning drama on Hwy. 5 had the eastbound lanes around Dell Road briefly closed off, but police have moved on and all lanes are open.

Hwy. 7 at County 19 in Excelsior goes down to one lane this morning, so expect delays if you need to pass through the west metro community.

And if you didn't experience it yesterday, prepare for a slower drive on southbound Hwy. 65 through Ham Lake and Blaine. The construction zone now extends up to Hwy. 10 and lane restrictions kick in at 93rd Avenue. Yesterday that had traffic crawling from 105th Avenue.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
