Good morning, commuters

On Monday, drivers were spending upwards of 30 minutes making their way from Elko to Burnsville. So far no delays through the work zone.

Overnight road work on 694 between I-35W and Hwy. 252 is wrapping up. The final cones and barrels are being picked up.

Elsewhere things are moving splendidly with dry road and light levels of traffic.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
